JUAN SANTAMARIA FESTIVAL

WHERE IS LOCATED: The festival is located in some special departments and thats are Limon, San Jose, Puntarenas, Heredia, Alajuela, Guanacaste and Cartago.

WHY IS THIS FESTIVAL CELEBRATE The festival is celebrated because, in the history of Costa Rica in the battle of RIVAS, the hero named Juan Santamaría burned down the “Casona de Santa Rosa” in wish the army of William Walker hide make that he retrench . In conmemoras of his dead they do a festival in his honor

TYPICAL FOOD The typical food is gallon pinto, tamales, cajetas and other food that the persons prepared for theta day

COSTUMES: The costumes of the festival are the same of all the festivals “the Costa Rica typical costume “that is with:
Men: white shirt with jeans and an red Neckerchief with a hat.
Women white shirt ,a blue skirt and tales wither red Ribbons

HOW PEOPLE CELEBRATE: The persons celebrate with Parades were the people dance and sing, in every dance at the half they make a small joke

TIPICAL DANCES: The typical dances are the folklore and the punto guanacasteco

THE SCHOOL

PARADICE SCHOOL: We select that name because our school would be very funny and children will study in a nice way, at the same time children would play in a musement part.

FLAG: We select orange and Black because: the orange is a color that give fun and Black because in the World not all is fun and give balance and with that we are going to have fun and study at the same time.

SLOGAN:HAVEFUN IS THE BEST

because: have fun is the most important thing for kids because fun is the best thing that a Shield could have midwife with out fun the world would be gray and board

BOYS UNIFORM: The uniforms will be very free and sports because are comfortable and is a way of expression because boys like sports and to feel free with our buddy.
GIRLS UNIFORM. Girls like colorful uniform they like skirts they are free and comfortable and the like those kinds of wears are good beautiful and great colors.

COST: It is a little expensive because the happiness has a cost:
